Cookie Policy

Version 1.1 · Effective date: July 8, 2026 · Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Lynkora DOO Beograd ("Lynkora", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies in the LiKE service. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website or application stores on your device to remember information about your preferences, session, and activity. "Similar technologies" include browser storage mechanisms such as localStorage, which stores data locally in your browser without transmitting it automatically with every request.

Important distinction: In LiKE, most interface preferences (language, layout, panel order, recently viewed items, and similar settings), as well as your cookie-consent choice, are stored in your browser's localStorage or with your account — not in cookies. They are not transmitted to third parties and are not used for tracking. We disclose them here for transparency.

Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use

Only strictly necessary technologies operate automatically. Analytics load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

| Name / technology | Provider | Category | Purpose | Storage & retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication & session | Lynkora (first-party) | Strictly necessary | Signing you in and keeping you signed in, including single sign-on (SSO) across the platform | Cookie (HttpOnly); short-lived session, renewed automatically, cleared on logout |
| Anti-abuse | Lynkora (first-party) | Strictly necessary | Rate limiting and abuse protection for anonymous (not signed-in) visitors | Cookie; session / short-lived |
| Interface preferences | Lynkora (first-party) | Functional | Remembering language, layout, and recently viewed items | localStorage / account settings — not a cookie |
| Consent preference | Lynkora (first-party) | Strictly necessary | Remembering your cookie-banner choice and the policy version | localStorage (anonymous) or your account (signed-in) — not a cookie |
| _ga | Google | Analytics (consent) | Distinguishing visitors | Cookie; up to 2 years |
| _ga_<stream-id> | Google | Analytics (consent) | Persisting GA4 session state | Cookie; up to 2 years |

Sign-in cookies are HttpOnly, meaning they cannot be read by page scripts, which protects them against theft via cross-site scripting (XSS).

Legal Basis

| Category | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Using these technologies does not require consent under ePrivacy rules, because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request; where personal data is involved, we rely on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). |
| Functional | Stored as account settings or in localStorage; where consent is required, we rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). |
| Analytics | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). |
| Marketing | Not currently used; if introduced, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). |

Analytics (consent-based)

On our website we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google, to understand — in aggregated, non-identifying form — how visitors use our pages so we can improve them. GA4 runs under Google Consent Mode v2:

  • By default, all analytics and advertising storage signals are set to "denied", so no analytics cookies are stored on your device until you accept.
  • Until you consent, GA may send aggregated, cookieless measurement pings that do not store cookies on your device.
  • When you accept non-essential cookies in the banner, analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set to measure usage. You can withdraw this at any time (see "Managing Cookies").

In addition, we may keep aggregated product usage statistics generated on our own servers (see the Privacy Policy), which do not rely on third-party cookies.

Marketing

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them, they will load only with your prior consent, and this policy will be updated first.

Third-Party Cookies

When you consent to analytics, Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) sets its own cookies and receives aggregated usage data. This involves a transfer of usage data to Google; for transfers to the United States, Google is, as of the effective date of this policy, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Where such certification does not apply, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, and additional safeguards apply as described in our Privacy Policy. Google's processing of this data is governed by Google's own policies. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally, and GA4 does not retain IP addresses.

Consent and the Cookie Banner

On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies or decline non-essential ones. Strictly necessary technologies are always active because the service cannot function without them.

Declining — or later withdrawing — consent to analytics or other non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to sign in or use LiKE.

We record your choice together with the version of this policy in effect at the time. If we make a material change to how we use cookies, the policy version increases and the banner is shown again so you can review and re-confirm your choice.

Managing Cookies

Through LiKE

  • Use the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit to accept or decline non-essential cookies.
  • To change your choice later, clear this site's cookies and stored data in your browser — the banner will appear again on your next visit.

Through Your Browser

  • Use your browser's built-in privacy settings to view, block, or delete cookies.
  • Block cookies from specific domains, or delete them automatically when you close the browser.

Please note: if you block strictly necessary cookies, sign-in and core features of LiKE may not work.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes are communicated by increasing the policy version and re-displaying the cookie banner, and the "Last updated" date above is revised. Previous versions are available on request at [email protected].
