The search interface is the main page of your portal (amedia.lynkora.pro). It is what your company's staff see during daily use.
#The 3-column interface
| Column | Contents | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Left | Article catalog (TOC) | Navigation across spaces, sections, and articles |
| Center | Search + AI answer + article view | The main work area |
| Right | Recommendations + query history | Personal context |
On mobile devices: a single-column layout, with side panels available via a drawer.
#How search works
- The user types a question in natural language (in any of the 25+ languages)
- LiKE finds relevant fragments via semantic search (by meaning, not by keywords)
- The AI produces a concise answer based on the sources found
- Below the answer, links to the source articles are shown (clickable)
- Click an article → it opens in the center column
Question: "How do I arrange a business trip?"
AI answer: "To arrange a business trip, you must submit a request through the HR portal no later than 5 working days in advance..."
Sources: Travel policy HR: Requests
#Search scope — a single space
Search is always performed within one active space. This preserves the accuracy of answers (context from different spaces is not mixed) and privacy (the content of each space is strictly isolated).
The active space is selected in the space switcher in the left sidebar:
Switching the space changes the search scope — LiKE searches only within the articles of the selected space.
#AI answer vs Articles
- AI answer — concise, to the point, synthesized from several sources
- Articles — full documents for a deep study of the topic
They complement each other: the AI gives a quick answer, while the articles provide context and detail.
#Actions when reading an article
When an article is open in the center column, its header offers the following actions:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Bookmark (star) | Add the article to your personal bookmarks to return to it quickly |
| Print the article paged (A4) — the system print dialog opens | |
| Share | Copy the link to the article |
| Edit | Open the article in the editor (for the Editor role and above) |
At the bottom of the article there is a "Was this article helpful?" block with a quick rating (👍 / 👎). Ratings help you understand which articles work well and which ones need improvement.
Bookmarks and helpfulness ratings are available to authenticated users; they are not shown to anonymous readers of the public knowledge base.
#Cross-language search
LiKE supports search in 25+ languages. Cross-language search: a question in one language → an answer from articles in another.
The language is detected automatically from the query text.
#Article catalog (left panel)
- Grouping by sections (from the TOC — Table of Contents)
- Filter by article language
- Filter by source (LiKE Editor, Wiki.js, Confluence)
- Click an article → it opens in the center column
- Source badges next to the title
#Recommendations and history (right panel)
- Recommended articles — selected by the AI based on your question
- Query history — your previous questions and answers
- Click a history item → it repeats the query
#Access control
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Invite-only | Only members of the organization (authentication required) |
| Public | Public articles are available to everyone without authentication |
Configuration: Settings → Organization → Access mode
